10-10-4 Animals
Noah’s Wish Annual Fundraising Campaign

Once a year, Noah’s Wish asks its volunteers to help raise funds for the organization. Our goal is to make this a fun and exciting means for our volunteers to help us keep our finances in order. This year will be the fourth annual campaign and our goal for 2008 is to raise $50,000. The campaign is scheduled to begin June first and run through the end of the month. 

We call this annual campaign “10-10-4 Animals”. The idea is to ask 10 of your friends, family, business associates or acquaintances to give just 10 dollars “for the animals”. The campaign is meant to be a friendly competition pitting Noah’s Wish U.S. Regions and Canada against each other. Not only can you win bragging rights for your region by participating, but prizes will be awarded for the region/area and the individual raising the largest amount of money and for the most original method of collecting donations. In addition, special prizes will be awarded to those volunteers who collect over $500.

We’ll provide lots of encouragement and ideas for fundraising along the way and keep everyone posted on who’s in the lead.  We do ask that you take the opportunity to enlighten your community about Noah’s Wish and don’t just write a check from your personal funds - that takes all the fun out of the competition. The campaign’s purpose is not only to raise money, but to let others know about the important mission of the organization.

You may think that one hundred dollars isn’t a lot to contribute, but look at it this way; Noah’s Wish has over one thousand volunteers and if each of you get ten people to donate just ten dollars that would be $100,000! While our goal isn’t nearly that lofty, you can imagine what the efforts of fifty percent of our volunteers could produce.  Remember, the donations go to keep the organization financially stable during the periods between disasters.

To get started, please make sure we have your current and correct email address. Starting in April, you’ll begin receiving periodic emails regarding the upcoming campaign. We’ll give you ideas on whom to ask, tips on how to raise the funds, forms for tracking your donations and giving receipts and a flyer to post -  all the information and guidelines you will need for a successful campaign.
