Michele has been a coordinator with Noah’s Wish since it was established in 2002. She first trained in 1996 to respond to the needs of animals in disasters. Since 1997, she has responded to many hurricanes, floods, fires and tornados. A great deal of her experience is in search and rescue, as well as, community outreach. Her twenty years of experience with horses has also been invaluable when responding to disasters.
Currently, Michele is a Flight Attendant with a major Airlines. Her experience has taught her to deal with emergency situations, medical issues and solve problems at 35,000 feet. She is presently seeking a career change by attending Colorado State University majoring in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources-Environmental Communications and minoring in Conservation Biology. She hopes to continue her passion for animals, conservation and the environment through future opportunities in a new profession.
Michele lives in Colorado with her five cats and her very loving and supportive husband, Ted, who shares her passion for animals by volunteer for Noah’s Wish. She is continuously grateful for the opportunity to work with Noah’s wish by nurturing her love for animals through helping the four legged victims of disasters.
